My son loves his MacDougall Bat, tough and durable, but has great pop
McDougal bats are an ingenious design that make for an incredibly strong and responsive bat. I think they have more pop than a metal bat. But it’s their look that I love most. The craftsmanship makes The bat look like a work of art. Everything about the joinery and construction provides strength to the bat.
I tip my cap to John McDougal...
I bought the M-10 for my son who plays in 13U, and he loves it. After 500 swings in the last month, the bat performance is wonderful. The ball really launches off the bat. Great pop. He likes the balance and his swing looks very smooth. My son is excited to play with it in his upcoming wood bat tournament next month.
Solid quality bat, worth every penny.
Don't let your competition know!! OK, to be honest, I guess every competitive ball player should KNOW. This is a great bat!! Hard hitting, pop off this one. Sometimes line drives, lacing directly to outfielders (if I used any other bat, would be a base hit, dropping, lazy, in front of fielders). Am I complaining? NO, absolutely not! Because the ones I hit in the gap, doubles and triples!! So yes, everything I heard about this bat is true. More "sweetspot" coverage (because it is all sweet). A miss is still a hard hit ball. I don't think I'll need to use the 5 month warranty, owned my MacDougall for 3 weeks and so far 7 for 10 in adult Vegas, weekend league play (yes, we play all year round).
Bottom line, I Love It and really don't know if I would buy another brand. I'd rather pay $200 to have a hard hitting, solid bat, then pay $120 4 times in an 18 month period (all relative to how much you play). I have a 2 weekend Vegas tournament coming up in March. I cant wait to drill a few...my only hope, the opossing team players aren't using MacDougalls!!
Bought this bat for myself to use in our amateur league. Can’t wait to get into the cages in a couple months to try it out. It’s truly a masterpiece of craftsmanship, almost don’t want to use it since it looks so amazing.
