The MacDougall Powerwood B Series bat is "Moment of Inertia" indexed to have the same swingweight feel as an M356 "Edgar Martinez" (similar to a 243).  This is the bat to choose for POWER.  Definitely more beef to swing but it will show in ball travel. BE ADVISED: this bat is the equivalent to swing as a balanced bat at least 1/2" longer.     Worth it

    The bat is definitely worth the money also with the one year warranty you
    definitely cannot beat that which I think will not break because of what
    the bat is made of the sound of a baseball coming off the bat sounds like
    it's going over the fence every time and the bat has a strong sweet spot
    when this one breaks if it ever does I will definitely be purchasing
    another one

    Great Bat

    Only had the bat a couple weeks and was able to hit a few times with it, but it sounds and hits extremely well. Only complaint I have is, since I don't wear batting gloves, the optional tuffgrip get slippery when your hands get sweaty. A cheap pair of gloves fixed it though.

    Thanks for taking the time John! Glad you're liking the bat. Sorry about the Tuffgrip. That stuff usually works well when wet. Maybe a little Pelican stick or Pine Pop so you can keep the gloves off. ⚾⚾

    FANTASTIC BAT

    I am 47, play in MSBL/MABL and recently bought a 34in End Load.. This bat is FANTASTIC. PERIOD! I will be buying another just to have in my bag but I don’t think anything is happening to my current Mac Dougal. This bat swings great and sends them even when hit mishit. Barreling one up rewards you with a great sounding POP and an even harder hit ball. Highly Recommended!!!

    Awesome Bat and Amazing Company

    I was lucky enough to stop by the shop in Bend on my way home and I'm sure glad I did. John was awesome, he showed me the process of how the bats are made along with some interesting stories and made the whole experience excellent. I had a hard time trying to figure out which model felt better for me, luckily enough, John let demo both models and I decided to order the B-series. I'm sure glad I chose to stop by and buy one of these high quality bats, the ball seems to jump off the bat even when it's not the sweet spot, definitely made a couple more hits squeak through. I make sure to tell everyone about how much I enjoy this bat especially when you connect the barrel on the ball. Thank you for the wonderful bat and service.

    My son loves it

    I gave my 30 year old son a 34" MacDougal Powerwood End Loaded bat to use in the Men's Baseball League he plays in. He has used it in one game so far and hit 3 line drives with it (a single, a double, and one caught at the wall by the CF.) He was swinging a 34" Baum and said the MacDougal feels lighter and has more pop. I can tell the ball carries farther too. The bat has got the attention of the other players on his team so expect more orders coming you way Mr. MacDougal.
